EHNO Elects Officers for 2024

EAST HARDWICK – At the November 7 meeting of the East Hardwick Neighborhood Organization (EHNO) the board elected new officers for the coming year. Irene Nagle and Janice Leonard will co-chair. Leonard will also assume the treasurer’s responsibilities and Cheryl Michaels will assume the secretary’s responsibilities. David Gross will remain the at-large board member who is working on special projects, such as Overlook Park and the Children’s Parade. Gail O’Brien continues to support the board as activities chair.

Anne Galloway has joined the organization’s board. Galloway is known locally for her work as a reporter and the founder of Vermont Digger. She and her spouse, Patrick Kane, reside on Hardwick Farms Road and are deeply involved in the Hardwick area community. Their daughter, Ceilidh Galloway-Kane is a Hardwick Select Board member (and the organizer of the East Hardwick December Cookie Project).

The EHNO board anticipates a productive year as they participate, along with other East Hardwick organizations and the Hardwick Planning Commission, to develop a master plan for East Hardwick Village. The organization will also continue to improve Overlook Park and to work with the town’s rail trail committee to develop the trailhead on Steven’s Lane.
