The Lamoille River was rising along Wolcott Street in Hardwick on Monday, December 18, at 4:30 p.m. The river crested between 9 and 10 p.m. and just under a foot of water backed up onto Wolcott Street near the fire station. Warm temperatures, melting snow and rain brought more flooding to area towns.
