Cabot Community Contra and Family Dances

Share article

CABOT – The Cabot Community Dance will host two events during the month of February, both held in the Willey Building (Cabot Town Hall, 3084 Main St).
The second Friday dance on February 9 will feature the calling of Cabot’s Karen Mueller-Harder, who specializes in beginner-friendly dances. The dance is from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., with a short introduction session for new folks at 7:15 p.m. Live music is provided by local musicians.

A family dance will be held on Sunday, Feb. 18, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. This is for families who find evening dances too late for them, and anyone else who would enjoy a daytime dance. This event will feature dances suited to young members of the community, and will be accessible to children (or others) with physical or cognitive challenges. Mueller-Harder will be the leader for this event, with live music.

All are welcome, and all dances are taught, and easily learned. Bring finger-food refreshments to share at the break. Masks are welcomed but not required, and a change of clean, dry shoes is appreciated.
