Friends of Library to Meet Monthly

Share article

HARDWICK – The Friends of the Jeudevine Library is a separate nonprofit entity that exists to strengthen and support the work of the Jeudevine Memorial Library. The Friends group was active for many years, however the nature of the library expansion project and then the pandemic led to a lull in activity.

With the completion of the library expansion project on the horizon, the committee will become more active. The immediate projects for the Friends are to develop special programming, form a team to help with gardening and landscaping when the construction ends, and to create an active group of volunteers. The Friends want to start by helping with activities to celebrate the eclipse on April 8.

Members of the Friends do not have to be Hardwick residents. The Friends will meet the third Tuesday of every month, at 5:15 p.m., at the library. The first meeting will be on Tuesday, March 19, with the next meeting scheduled for April 16.
