
Workers from Wright & Morrissey Inc. of South Burlington trim out the new 10-door cooler in the historic Yellow Barn in Hardwick. After finalizing the trim in the building, three counters will be installed. The space will be occupied by Cabot Creamery Cooperative.

SD Ireland workers are prepping for more concrete slabs to be poured in the 22,000 square foot business accelerator building in Hardwick. The building should be completed by fall of 2024. The two anchor tenants will be the Center for an Agricultural Economy and Jasper Hill Farm.
Vanessa Fournier graduated from Hazen Union School in 1973 and went to work taking photos in Bennington, then returned to Hardwick to work for Vin Zecchinelli of Farland Studio for several years. She started her own photo business in 1979. She's been in photography for over 50 years, working for The Hardwick Gazette for 44 years. She retired in 2023 and is still taking pictures for The Gazette because she still loves what she does.
