GREENSBORO – The Greensboro Free Library will host a free hands-on workshop on home heat transfer on Saturday, Feb. 3, at 2 p.m. Representatives of the library, in collaboration with energy committee members from Albany, Craftsbury, Glover, Stannard and Hardwick, formed a regional energy-efficiency group to share ways to save energy costs in our homes. At this workshop, educators with the Vermont Energy Education Program will discuss home heat transfer and show how insulation and air sealing can keep homes warmer while saving homeowners money. Funding is available for many such home weatherization projects. A local weatherization expert will be available following the program to answer specific questions. Registration for the program is required by Saturday, Jan. 27, as the program is limited to 20 participants. For more information or to register, call the library at (802) 533-2531.
