MONTPELIER — The TW Wood Gallery will present “View From Prospect Street,” featuring the works of James Secor and Glen Coburn Hutcheson, beginning January 30 and running through March 23. An artist reception will be held February 2, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Also on view will be works from members of the Art Resource Association.

Hutcheson draws, paints, sculpts and works as a picture framer. He helped found The Front, a co-operative gallery in Montpelier and lives two doors down Prospect Street from his friend and fellow Front member, the painter James Secor.
Hutcheson studied at the New York Studio School, at Haverford College, and at the International School of Art in Umbria, Italy, and holds degrees in painting and sculpture. James Secor is a painter, musician, and software engineer who lives in Montpelier with his partner and two children.

The Art Resource Association will be featured in Contemporary Hall. “Reflections and Shadows” includes artwork by A.R.A. and Center for Arts and Learning members. The Art Resource Association is an organization of Central Vermont artists whose goal is to promote and support their member artists. As part of that mission, they regularly hold group shows in Central Vermont.
