Share article

CABOT – The Cabot Community Contra Dance will be held on Friday, March 8, in the Willey Building from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.. There will be a short introductory session for new folks at 7:15 p.m.
The dances will be taught and called by Erin Allen. Live music will be provided by a group of local musicians, led by Franklin Heyburn.
All dances are taught, and don’t require any special skills. All ages are welcome, and anyone can dance with anyone, generally changing partners with each dance (the dances don’t rely on gender.)

Admission is on a sliding scale, $5-10, but nobody is turned away.

Water and cups will be provided, or bring a water bottle. Masks are welcomed but not required.

The Cabot Community Contra Dance is held every second Friday at the Cabot Town Hall, 3084 Main St.
