by Norma Wiesen

HARDWICK “Learn About Tracking” will be presented March 30 on the Hardwick Trails, 10 a.m. to noon. Naturalist and tracker Jonathan Shapiro will explain how to find the signs of creatures in the woodlands. As winter wanes and spring begins, humans and wildlife get more active, so Shapiro will explain what tracks can be found, what other animal signs are evident, and what stories do they tell. This family-friendly, free event is sponsored by the Hardwick Conservation Commission.

Meet at the Hardwick Trails kiosk behind Hazen Union parking lot.

Norma Wiesen is a Hardwick Trails Committee member.
