Weekend Total Eclipse Festival April 5-7

WESTMORE – There will be a Weekend Total Eclipse Festival on April 5, 6, and 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Westmore Fellowship Hall, 27 Hinton Hill Road.

Join Astronomer, Bill Vinton of the Northeast Kingdom Astronomy Foundation Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. for a Galileoscope workshop for a $25 donation. Galileoscopes may be purchased at the event.

Visit vendors selling maple syrup, food trucks and enjoy live music. There will be fine art, crafts and moon-theme items to buy.

Attend environmental and science events with a focus on the natural resources of Willoughby Lake.

The Natural Resources Conservation Service will be there to talk about soil health.

Raffles for a glamping tent, galileoscope, eclipse books, camping in Brownington and a Celestial quilt will be held. Attendance at the event is free.
