SPRINGVALE, Me. – Robert E Hayford, 91, passed away in Springvale, Me., July 14. He was born in Hardwick, Vt., to Floyd and Ula Hayford.

He spent time in the U.S. Army and he was stationed in Germany. For many years he was a carpenter and after retirement he drove a school bus for Wildcat busing.

He is survived by his  wife. Alison Hayford, sons Robert Hayford Jr. of Lexington Tenn., Richard Hayford of Waterboro Me., Brian Hayford of Alfred Me, and Jon Hayford of Morrisville, Vt., four granddaughters and four great-grandsons. There will be no burial at this time.
