William Francis Hill

HARDWICK – William Francis Hill passed away July 14. Bill was born in Hardwick, April 15, 1935, to William S. Hill and Doris Potter Hill. 

He lived in Hardwick, his entire life, but for two years, in the Army, where he was stationed in Texas. 

He owned and operated a number of different businesses in town, including Hill’s Feed store, W.F. Hill real estate and auctioneer, and Hardwick Farms beef. He purchased and restored a number of buildings, including the Centennial House and the Daniels Block. 

Bill is survived by his children, Dean, Dianne, Janet and Clay, and his brother Steve Hill. He was predeceased by his parents, and brothers Jim and Dan. 

A private service will take place at the convenience of his family. Arrangements are with the des Groseilliers Funeral Home. Online condolences and memories of Bill may be shared with his family at dgfunerals.com
