To the editor:
My name is Sabrina Morrison, Iām running for the Caledonia-2 district house seat.
I grew up in Hardwick and graduated from Hazen Union. People who know me from those days, knew me as Sabrina Butterick. I live in Hardwick with my family and am serving on the Hazen Union board and on the supervisory union board.
Iām a candidate for the Caledonia-2 House seat because I understand the difficulties people in this district and throughout the state face in affording lifeās essentials, specifically education, health care, and housing. I understand it, because Iāve experienced it: property taxes, health insurance, and the cost of purchasing a home are out of reach for many Vermonters. We can do better.
Iām running because I care about the people in this district and want to give back to the community that raised me. I have the energy, desire, and ideas to make things better for people in the district and in the state. I know change happens slowly, but I am patient and persevering, and welcome the challenge.
I like people, and look forward to meeting residents in our district that I havenāt met yet and hearing their concerns during the next several months of my campaign.
