HARDWICK – Peter Cobb will read from his new novel, “Some Things Aren’t Meant To Be” on Monday, Sept. 9, at Jeudevine Memorial Library, starting at 6:30 pm. His novel is about a farmhand at a hardscrabble Vermont farm in 1928 who eventually becomes a Roman Catholic priest at a small Vermont parish. The book is equal parts love story, coming-of-age story, and an examination of faith. This is Cobb’s second Vermont-based novel.
