Emergency Communications Discussion Sept. 16

Share article

HARDWICK – A town-wide meeting to discuss past flood response and ways to support one another during future emergencies will be held Monday, Sept. 16, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at Hazen Union School. The meeting is a collaboration between the town and Hardwick Neighbor to Neighbor.

Neighbor to Neighbor volunteers have been working with the town to create a more comprehensive Local Emergency Management Plan for future emergencies. In addition to getting as many people as possible signed up for the town’s emergency alert system, the discussion of centralizing a communication hub and identifying a point person has been discussed.

For questions for the event, email [email protected]. Snacks will be served.
