Tim Findlen, whose stage name is Ranse Chase, performs at The Civic Standard’s first-ever Hardwick Comedy Cellar held at the American Legion, Thursday evening, September 5. Chase claims to have won this year’s award for “Most Authentic-Sounding Country Music Backstory,” and holds an honorary degree in Cracking a Cold One from the University of Tennessee at Party Cove, where he is an adjunct professor of Beautiful Angel Studies.
