He’s a Problem-solver

To the editor:

I have known Tom Ziobrowski for over 40 years. He is thoughtful, considerate, moderate, reliable and most importantly, a problem solver. With his wife, he has raised and nurtured two children. As a primary care physician he has experience managing challenging situations, as well as tailoring his response to the particular needs of individuals and their families. In the community he has served as Danville town moderator for 16 years. He has led Danville’s Citizen Senior Housing for even longer, as well as volunteering with the Vermont Food Bank and the Saint Johnsbury After-School Music program.

Tom’s considerable talents and experience are highlighted by his passion for understanding and responding to people’s needs. He is deeply aware of the struggles and challenges of moderate and low income earners. Tom is also deeply concerned that the struggles our citizens face each day regarding the issues of affordable housing, food and necessities as well as insurance and healthcare costs that are impacting and overwhelming the health and well-being of our citizens and their families.

Vermont is facing very serious fiscal issues that will directly impact every one of us, which will only add to the strain of recent increases in property taxes and escalating costs for food, housing, insurances and fees.

We can count on Tom to advocate for all of us as he takes on the roll of state representative. He will advocate for practical, sensible, forward-thinking and equitable solutions to the most pressing issues that face all of us daily. He will help us to face and find solutions to the housing shortage and the cost of housing. He will stand strong for public education, reproductive freedom, protecting and advocating for our civil rights, family and child services and affordable healthcare.

He is a tireless advocate to help our citizens understand and take on the importance of climate change and the rolls we must all play in changing the trends that are currently bringing our planet to the brink of self-destruction.

Tom Ziobrowski will work tirelessly to make Vermont as affordable and equitable as possible for all of us and ease our struggle and concern over caring for, feeding and housing our families and protecting our environment. And most of all, Tom will stand strong for all of our citizens, keeping Vermont strong.
