HARDWICK – Hazen Union senior Rowan Book has been awarded the Green and Gold Scholars Award from The University of Vermont (UVM), according to the Orleans Southwest Supervisory Union and Hazen Union School. This merit scholarship awards full in-state tuition for up to four years to those who apply, are accepted, and attend UVM. It also includes an invitation to the Honors College if the recipient applies to UVM by January 15, 2025. To receive the Green and Gold Scholars Award, selected students must be a competitive applicant, meet or exceed minimum entrance requirements to the university and for the selected academic program, apply for admission by January 15 of the senior year, and must choose to attend UVM by May 1 of the semester prior to enrollment.
