Hardwick Fire Department

On January 24, at 8:50 p.m., Hardwick Fire Department was toned for a one-car rollover near 223 Mill St. in Hardwick. Engine 2 responded. On arrival, a vehicle was found on its roof behind the guardrails. Traffic was reduced to one lane for around 1-1/2 hours while the vehicle was recovered and loaded. Engine 2 was back in quarters at 10:15 p.m.

February 18, at 1:40 a.m., Hardwick Fire Department was toned to a residence on Dusty Swamp Road with a chimney fire. Engine 2 responded with four. The chimney fire was managed without incident and the engine and crew returned after 3 a.m.
