On Tuesday, Feb. 18, at 4:30 p.m., Hardwick Police Officers were investigating an incident at 122 Spring St. in Hardwick. Officers met with Kyle Neill and Dylan Peake and learned they both had warrants for their arrest. Neill had a warrant out of Caledonia County Court for failure to appear for charges of Vehicle Operation License Suspended (DUI related) and Gross Negligent Operation of a Vehicle. Peake had a warrant out of Caledonia County Court for failure to appear on charges of False Pretenses or False Tokens. Both Neill and Peake were taken into custody and transported to Northeast Correctional Complex.

On February 20, Taylor Dailey of Hardwick, called to advise his 2007 Nissan Sentra had been hit in the rear bumper while parked on Sawmill Lane in Hardwick. The location the vehicle was parked was adjacent to the road and the V.A.S.T. trail, as both occupy the same traffic-way on this portion of Sawmill. It is not known at this time what type of vehicle may have hit Dailey’s car and then left the scene.
