CABOT— The evening of February 24, Cabot Fire Department and Cabot Emergency Ambulance Service responded to a single motor vehicle accident on Route 2. Cabot agencies were assisted by mutual aid partners, Walden Fire Department and Marshfield Fire Department. The incident entailed a rollover with entrapment. The prompt response by first responders allowed for the rapid extrication of the occupants from the vehicle. Medical evaluation began even before the occupants were extricated from the vehicle. Both were wearing seatbelts, likely a crucial factor that limited their injuries. Eleven Cabot Fire Department members responded to the scene, as well as mutual aid partners.
