On March 16, at approximately 6:58 p.m., troopers from the Vermont State Police, Berlin Barracks, responded to a report of suspicious activity that was taking place at a residence on S. Walden Road in the town of Cabot. While speaking with the residents, contact was made with Tyler Prue, of Cabot. Prue was found to have an active warrant out of New Hampshire for charges equivalent to that of Lewd and Lascivious Conduct in the State of Vermont.
Once this was established and communicated to New Hampshire, Prue was taken into custody and transported to the St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing. Per order of the court, Prue was held without bail at Northeast Correctional Complex and issued a flash citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Washington County Criminal Division on March 17, 12:30 p.m., to answer to the above charge.
On March 14, at 9:03 p.m., troopers were notified of a motor vehicle crash in Cabot on Cabot Road. A single vehicle had gone off the road on a corner and struck a tree. Upon arrival, troopers spoke with the operator of the vehicle, Deanna Avery. Troopers observed signs of impairment and arrested Avery for suspicion of DUI. She was processed and later released with a citation to appear in court on a later date.
