CRAFTSBURY — Author and historian Kevin Graffagnino will give a talk on Ira Allen at the Craftsbury Public Library on Sunday, April 6, at 4 p.m. Land speculator, revolutionary, pamphleteer, politician and empire-builder, Ira Allen was a key figure on the late eighteenth-century Green Mountain frontier. Based on his new book, “Ira Allen: A Biography,” Graffagnino’s lively talk evaluates Allen’s career. Books will be available for purchase at the program.
