MARSHFIELD – On Saturday, May 17, 7:30 to 11 a.m. (rain date Sunday, May 18, 7:30 to 11 a.m.), there will be a Spring bird walk at the Stranahan Town Forest. Bob Popp and Betsy Ziegler will identify some of the many species of birds who are returning to Vermont woods after a long spring migrations. They will show how to identify species by both sight and sound, and also discuss bird behavior and ecology. Meet at the Stranahan Town Forest parking lot at the beginning of Thompson Road right off of Hollister Hill Road.
