MONTPELIER – “The Revolutionists” by Lauren Gunderson will be presented Thursdays through Sundays, June 5 to June 15, at Lost Nation Theater (LNT).

The production presents four bold women who try not to lose their heads in comedy set during the French Revolution. Amidst the Reign of Terror, four renegades, an assassin, a writer, a spy and a queen, hang out, plot murder, find friendship and try to beat back extremist insanity.

The play is presented at 7:30 p.m., Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 p.m. on Sundays and 2 p.m. Saturday, June 14.

Masks are encouraged, but not required. LNT’s state-of-the-art bio-defense air purification Synexis system is in service 24-7. The flood made LNT – City Hall’s elevator inoperable, requiring climbing stairs to attend in person. The play will be available digitally to make the show accessible to those unable to physically join us. Since there is no wheelchair-walker access, call (802) 229-0492) or email [email protected] to discuss options for seeing the show.
