HARDWICK – On May 17 at 12:40 a.m., the Hardwick Fire Department was toned mutual aid to 2822 Vt. Rte. 15 in Wolcott for a vehicle into a barn, both on fire. Engine 1 and the tanker responded. Hardwick fire members were on scene for roughly seven hours before returning to quarters.

On May 19, the Hardwick Fire Department had call No. 50. The breakdown for calls 26 through 50 includes 1 vehicle fire, 5 alarms, 2 brush fires, 6 motor vehicle accidents, 1 dumpster fire, 2 mutual aids, 1 structure fire, 1 power line fire-down, 1 medical assist and 2 CO2 alarm activations.
