HYDE PARK – Lamoille County Players will be holding auditions for John Buchan’s “The 39 Steps” directed by Heather Mandigo. The audition dates will be June 14 & 15 at 1:00 p.m. at the Hyde Park Opera House. Performance dates will be October 3-5 & 10-12. The show synopsis is a man with a boring life meets a woman with a thick accent who says she’s a spy. When he takes her home, she is murdered. Soon, a mysterious organization called “The 39 Steps” is hot on the man’s trail in a nationwide manhunt that climaxes in a death-defying finale.
