Mihaly to Speak, July 22

CRAFTSBURY – Children’s book author Christy Mihaly will be reading from her books at the Craftsbury Public Library on Tuesday, July 22 at 3:30 p.m., and all children will be invited to pick out two free books as part of the summer readers program. Mihaly is an award-winning Vermont children’s author who has written over 40 books. She will read her book, “Hey, Hey, Hay! A Tale of Bales and the Machines That Make Them,” a rhyming picture book about a mother-daughter team bringing in the hay. Her other picture books include “Patience, Patches!,”a dog’s-eye view of a new baby’s arrival in the family, and “Free for You and Me: What Our First Amendment Means.”

Craftsbury Public Library hosts programs for school-aged children every Tuesday and Friday at 3:30 p.m. through early August.  For more information, contact the library at (802) 586-9683.
