CRAFTSBURY – Long-time Craftsbury residents author Thomas Twetten and photographer Harry Miller have teamed up to create a book about Craftsbury and its people, past and present. The book, “Craftsbury Celebration,” documents over 70 homes built before 1860 that are still in use. Each page tells the history of a home and its occupants, accompanied by full-color photographs. There are short essays about various public buildings in town as well as historic photos throughout the book. The book was created as a fundraiser, with all the proceeds from the limited edition going to the Craftsbury Public Library. There will be only 500 copies, signed and numbered by the author and photographer. The book is now available for pre-sale and shipping online at craftsburypubliclibrary.org/craftsbury-book. Physical copies can be purchased and picked up at, or after, a book launch on Friday, August 8, at 6 p.m. Details about the launch events will be announced at a later date.
