HARDWICK − There will be a celebration of farms and food with the Center for an Agricultural Economy and the Hardwick Farmers Market, August. 1, 3 to 6 p.m., at Atkins Field, 140 Granite St.

Afternoon events include horse-drawn wagon rides, baby goats, a performance by Circus Smirkus at 3 p.m., live music by Indigenous Entertainment, family-friendly activities, farmers market vendors, prepared food and dessert vendors and cocktails by St. Johnsbury Distillery. The event is free.
