Catching up on climate change, Jan. 15

MARSHFIELD – On Thursday, Jan. 15, at 6:30 p.m., meteorologist Roger Hill will provide an update on what has been happening climate-wise while everyone has been focused on Washington, including the latest world surface conditions and temperature trends, latest updates on the  Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation, the increasing possibility of future local heat waves, and colder early winter conditions. This is the first program in a series of events at the Jaquith Public Library around Vermont Humanities’ 2026 Vermont Reads book,  “The Light Pirate” by Lily Brooks-Dalton.
