AREA TOWNS – Three Vermont “Destination Imagination” teams recently returned from the international Destination Imagination Global Finals in Kansas City, Missouri.
Teams from Twinfield Union School, West Rutland School and Cavendish Fletcher Community Library, who met after school in their communities, all presented creative performances demonstrating original solutions to the technical challenge, “Win It Big.”
Eight Vermont children were in the international parade at the welcome ceremony. They met and traded pins with other children from many states and countries.
In addition, they had the opportunity to try lots of activities including CaveSim (a simulated cave exploring experience), a music workshop, science activities and a magic show.
