On September 24, Pastor Kim Larose (left) of the United Church of Craftsbury dedicated a hymn written by Diane Sanville (right) of Craftsbury that has been added to the church’s hymnal. Sanville composed “Love Begins at Home” in 1997 for the church’s bicentennial. The Collinsville Choir led the congregation in singing it after the dedication. A reception was held downstairs after the service. Sanville, with the help of the Collinsville Choir, is in the process of making a CD of 12 of her original hymns and inspirational songs. The money donated for each CD will benefit the United Church of Craftsbury Crisis Fund.
