East Main Street Bridge Work

J.P. Sicard Inc., of Barton, began removal of the East Main Street bridge in Hardwick located near the Greensboro, Walden and Stannard town line, March 26. The removal of the structure should be completed by April 3. A replacement structure is in the works but no timeline has been determined.

The East Main Street bridge in Hardwick near the Greensboro, Walden and Stannard town line, failed on Sept. 10, 2023, from damage it sustained during the July flood. The complete removal of the bridge should be completed by April 3. A time line has not been determined yet for a replacement structure.
