Emergency Preparedness Information July 8

HARDWICK — On Monday, July 8, at 6:30 p.m., the Vermont Department of Health will present information on how to prepare for an emergency at the Jeudevine Memorial Library. This presentation includes evaluating what is needed to evacuate, sheltering in place, and how to prepare for immediate escape.

The talk is designed to address emergencies most likely encountered in Vermont, with an emphasis on planning, preparation and practice. The talk is interactive and addresses specific audience preparedness needs and provides an overview for anyone interested in local hazards and the best way to respond by being prepared.

This event is free and open to the public at the Jeudevine Memorial Library, 93 North Main Street, Hardwick. Call (802) 472-5948 for more information.
