HARDWICK – Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court St. Veronica No. 1273 participated in Make A Difference Day, October 26. Members gathered at St. Norbert Church in Hardwick to make prayer blankets, given to those in need of prayers. The fleece blankets are prayed over while being made and are blessed before being distributed. Members completed 41 blankets at their work bee. Over 500 prayer blankets have been distributed since the church’s Prayer Blanket Ministry began in 2007. Prayer blankets have been sent to those as far away as California and Florida.
