Ellis Reads from Novel, Nov. 20

HARDWICK – Author Jackson Ellis will be at The Galaxy Bookshop on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 7 p.m.,  for a reading from his sophomore novel, “Black Days.” A thriller for fans of Stephen King and Shirley Jackson, “Black Days” is a novel inspired by a 19th century hoax that follows a hapless retiree and a devious doctor as they discover the key to human hibernation and the consequences that follow from the experiment.

Jackson Ellis is a writer and editor from Vermont who has also spent time living in Nevada and Montana. His short fiction has appeared in publications including The Vermont Literary Review, Sheepshead Review, East Coast Literary Review, Midwest Literary Magazine. He is the co-publisher of VerbicideMagazine.com, which he founded as a print periodical in 1999. “Lords of St. Thomas” is his first novel.
