CRAFTSBURY – Sterling College will be offering free gear repair at the Craftsbury Public Library, January 25, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Anyone can stop in and drop off gear in need of repair, then enjoy the library while students give the gear new life. Free repairs made possible by Sterling College. 

Items must be clean. Common repair types accepted: stuck or misaligned zippers, nylon with rips, puffy coat holes, broken backpack buckles and straps, seam failures, busted snaps, etc. Some stoves, tents, snowshoes and other hard goods can be repaired on a case-by-case basis.
