HARDWICK – Local contractor, Ecotone Landscapes and Tree Care, will be working over the next few weeks to plant the 30 trees that have arrived and adopted by private landowners and in public spaces in the designated downtown area.
The planting is a collaboration of the Hardwick Downtown Partnership (HDP), the Town of Hardwick’s Conservation Commission and tree warden.
Funding for the project has been provided through a Community Tree Planting Grant from the Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission and the Vermont Urban and Community Forestry Program.
