Landmark Lost – Members of the Hardwick Fire Department take a break after fighting the fire in the former home of the Flood Zone Bar all night. The building caught fire just before 10 p.m. on Monday night. After the fire was extinguished, a K-9 team from the Vermont State Police located several floor boards which appeared to have traces of an accelerant. The floor boards were sent to the Vermont Forensic Laboratory in Waterbury for further testing. (photo by Doug McClure)
