CARD OF THANKS

Share article

We have so many people to thank for the various ways in which they contributed to our family while Sybil was ill, and after she passed away.

Thanks to the Hardwick Rescue Squad’s dedicated members, Caledonia Home Health and Hospice for faithfully coming every week to care for Sybil and for your efforts to keep her comfortable. Thanks to the Greensboro Nursing Home for some brief respite stays, family members and friends who filled in to help me care for our Mother. Thank you to all the people who delivered food to our house. Thank you to the American Legion Auxiliary Post 7 for all the food that was donated and the workers who set everything up and cleaned up after at the Legion.

Thanks to Dian Holcomb and her staff from the Northern Vermont Funeral Service for caring for our family and making arrangements for a beautiful funeral service for Mom. Thank you to Rev. Ed Sunday-Winters from the Greensboro United Church of Christ for leading the church service. Thanks to Jean Hackett for the beautiful music, and to Dan Hudson for the wonderful singing of The Lord’s Prayer. Thank you to Karen Collier for doing the Funeral Bulletin.

Thank you to Carrie Harvey, granddaughter, Melanie Gates, granddaughter, Tessa Harvey, great-granddaughter, and Tracy Harvey, grandson, for speaking at the Funeral.

Thank you to the family members who were the pallbearers, Tracy Harvey, Tyler Harvey, Tanner Harvey, Troy Harvey, Shane Rublee and Ryker Willett.

Thanks to Amy’s Artistic Floral and The Flower Basket for the beautiful flower arrangements. Thanks for the flowers from friends and family, the one from 16 cousins, Aunt Dorothy and Family, and Jo-Ann and Gary Dimick.

Thanks for the donations in memory of my Mom for the United Church of Hardwick and Caledonia Home Health and Hospice.

A special thanks to my daughter-in-law, Alissa Harvey, who came to my house early in the morning when Mom passed and stayed with me all day helping with phone calls and keeping me focused on what needed to be done about the arrangements.

Thanks for the many cards and phone calls. Family and Friends are truly such blessings. I hope I didn’t leave anyone out and if I did I apologize.

The family of Sybil L. Ainsworth, Marsha Harvey and Trudy Rublee and all of our family members.
