Family pie makers (from left): Wanda Niemi, Jodi Lew-Smith, Deborah Hartt, Sarah Morgan and Rui Pougnier put finishing touches on the pie crusts before wrapping and delivering the apple pies to the Hardwick Area Food Pantry to be included in their Thanksgiving boxes. Nineteen volunteers prepared the 53 pies on Sunday in the United Church of Hardwick dining hall.
