Library Programs Ongoing this Month

EAST CRAFTSBURY – The John Woodruff Simpson Memorial Library will present the following programs through the month on February.

An ongoing program on Sundays, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m, Spanish/English bilingual playgroup for children ages 4 through 9.

On Sunday, Feb. 18, from 1 to 3 p.m., there is a Spanish conversation hour and potluck.

Thursday, Feb. 22, will feature a Fiber Crafternoon, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. This group meets every other week in East Craftsbury for a time to knit, mend, sketch, write, hook, do needlework, chat and have tea together. 

On Thursday, Feb. 15, at 11 a.m., the travel adventure book group will consider the book, “The Glass Summit: One Woman’s Epic Journey Breaking Through” by Jan Reynolds.

Saturday, Feb. 17, at 3 p.m., features a seasonal sing and soup potluck with Heidi Wilson at the East Craftsbury Presbyterian Church. 

On Saturday, Feb. 24, at 4 p.m., the Second Annual Haiku Poetry Slam will take place at the East Craftsbury Presbyterian Church.
