Hardwick Police Report

On March 8 at 8:49 a.m., Dona’s Car Store notified the Hardwick Police Department that a catalytic converter had been stolen. Upon my arrival they notified this officer that in fact three catalytic converters had been stolen off vehicles in their yard. Two busses and a Ford pickup had their catalytic converters cut off during the night. Anyone with leads as to this crime is urged to contact the Hardwick Police Department.

On March 8 at 10:18 a.m., Melyssa Smith, of Wolcott, came to the Hardwick Police Station to report that her license plate had been stolen. Plate was listed in NCIC.

On March 8, at 11:39 a.m., Joshua Allen of Hardwick, reported that his 2018 Ford F250 was hit while he was out at the Community Bank. There is a red mark on the side of the truck and knows that there was a red Subaru parked next to him when he went into the bank. If anyone has any information about the accident, please call Hardwick Police Department.

On March 14 a 10:07 p.m., the Hardwick Police Department stopped a vehicle on South Main Street in Hardwick for a motor vehicle violation. Investigation revealed the operator, identified as Diana Carolina Geraldo-Castro, of Montreal, had been under the influence of intoxicants at the time of the stop. Geraldo-Castro was issued a citation to appear in court in the Superior Court of Vermont, Caledonia County, for the offense of DUI.

On March 16 at 12:03 a.m., the Hardwick Police Department stopped Randi L. Hall, of Hardwick, for a motor vehicle violation on South Main Street. Investigation revealed that Hall had been operating a motor vehicle on a public highway while under the influence of alcohol. Hall has been issued a citation to appear in court to be arraigned on the charge of DUI.
