Parker comes to OSSU with a Master of Education from Southern New Hampshire University and 20 years of school-based experience.

“The Mountain View Union Elementary School District Board is pleased to welcome Beth Parker as principal for the Woodbury and Lakeview campuses. Beth brings a wealth of knowledge, energy, and excitement to MVU, and we are looking forward to her contributions as we continue to create a nurturing and dynamic learning environment where every student can thrive,” commented Kevin Moore, MVUESD school board chair.

Parker stated, “My core values are joy and belonging which guide me in all my pursuits. I am passionate about creating community and equity for all children, and am excited to meet the communities in Greensboro, Hardwick and Woodbury.”

In addition to her roles as teacher, interventionist, and professional development coach, Parker is also an instructor at Southern New Hampshire University in the master’s in education program.

Parker lives in East Montpelier with her husband, Todd, two Golden Retrievers and cat. She has two adult children, Lily, a second-grade teacher, and Thomas, a business owner, emergency medical technician and firefighter. The Parker family spends a good portion of their summers on Greenwood Lake in Woodbury.
