Cadow Reads at Library Aug. 8

HARDWICK – Vermont author and educator Ken Cadow reads from and discusses his young adult novel, “Gather,” at the Jeudevine Memorial Library on Thursday,
Aug. 8, at 6:30 p.m. The event is also presented by the Galaxy Bookshop.
The book was a finalist for the National Book Award for Young People’s Literature in
2023 but also chosen as the 2024 Vermont Humanities Vermont Reads Book.
Though labeled “young adult,” this book is a read for anyone who loves a book set in Vermont.
The library will have free paperback copies of the book available through the
Vermont Humanities Vermont Reads program. The Galaxy Bookshop will have
hardcover copies available for sale at the event. This event is free and open to the public at 93 North Main Street. For more information, contact the library at (802)
