Hoopla on Aug. 3 to Benefit Community

HARDWICK – The second Hardwick Hoopla of the summer will be held on Friday, Aug. 3. at Atkins Field from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., and on Main Street from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and later. Highlights include the Circus Smirkus Road Show performing at Atkins Field at 3 p,m, followed by Jiu-Jitsu and Karate-based yard games. At 5 p.m., a line-up of local musicians with special guests “The Constables” will perform. This event will be a benefit to support Hardwick Area Neighbor to Neighbor’s emergency supply center (for flood response and any community emergency). Hoopla is a collaboration of the Hardwick Downtown Partnership, Hardwick Farmers Market, Center for an Agricultural Economy, Jeudevine Library, Hardwick Recreation Committee, NEKarts, AWARE, and the Town of Hardwick.
