The bluegrass band, Forest Station, begins the free summer music series in Cabot on Tuesday, Aug. 6, 6 p.m., on the Cabot Village Common.
Forest Station brings their tight harmonies and energetic instrumentals to kick off the series, courtesy of Cabot Arts. In addition to putting fresh twists on classic Americana bluegrass tunes, the band will showcase their new album, “Earth Tones,” recorded in Vermont last fall and released in early April.
“We’ve had airplay in radio stations from North Carolina to Maine,” said banjo player Thomas Bryce. “We’ve worked on these songs playing live for about a year now, and it will be fun to introduce folks to our music.”
