RANDOLPH — Vermont Coverts is hosting an opportunity for woodland owners to meet with professionals to answer questions about passing land to the next generation, Monday, Nov. 4 in two sessions, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. or from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Langevin House, Vermont State University, Randolph.
This is an opportunity to meet one-on-one with land managers, conservation, financial and estate planning professionals to answer questions about passing woodlands on to the next generation.
A speed dating format allows participants to have 15 to 20 minutes with each professional to begin, further or enhance their thought process on the disposition of their land.
Lawyers will answer questions about land conservation with a land trust, the Current Use program and how to keep land intact if there are no heirs.
Vermont Coverts works to educate landowners and others about forest management and wildlife stewardship.
