CRAFTSBURY COMMON – On Saturday, Nov. 9, the Craftsbury Public Library will host a repair workshop. Skilled community members will be at the library to share advice and pointers on how to fix items, or provide repairs on the spot for smaller items. There will be stations for knitted and woven items, sewing repairs, wood projects, computer help, knife sharpening, and home energy improvements. The workshop will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and is free of charge. Throughout the morning there will be door prizes and free snacks. For those who have a skill or baked goods to share, call Susan at (802) 586-9683.
This project is possible thanks to financial support from the Association for Rural and Small Libraries, and assistance from partners Sterling College and the Craftsbury Energy Committee. The library is located on Common Loop.
